Shivanjay Yadav (Class of 2020) has been selected to join the Officers Training Academy (OTA) through the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination, with an All India Rank 1.
He had always been passionate and persistent in his efforts to join the defence forces. This was his 7th attempt which goes on to prove the age-old adage that perseverance is indeed the key to success.
For other juniors aspiring to follow suit and join the defence forces through CDS, Shivanjay has a few nuggets of wisdom to share. He says that AIL is the best place for any defence aspirant, simply because a lot of the alumni are in the Indian Army. The seniors are the perfect people to approach for any doubts since most of them do prepare for the exam.
