Rajat Singla (Batch of 2021) has been placed at HDFC LTD as a Management Trainee in the Legal Department and will be joining the Bathinda office by 3rd August 2021.
The first stage of the placement procedure was a Group Discussion. The shortlisted candidates had to give a psychometric test the next day, after which they had an online Extempore Complaint Drafting test. The final stage was the interview round which involved CV-based questions and general questions on law, particularly relating to the IPC, Contracts Law, Constitutional Law, SARFAESI Act.
On being asked what piece of imperative advice would he like to give to the juniors who would be applying for job positions in the future; he stated that “during our first and second year we tend to waste a lot of time thinking we have ample amount of it but all you have is little time to spend on various areas i.e. moots, internships, research papers, etc. so this is actually the time to in all of your efforts. Everything is too late if you keep procrastinating. Thus, if today you judiciously allot your time and have consistency towards your goals, you can achieve absolutely anything.”
