For the students of AIL now, the icon is Shaurya Gulati (Batch of 2021) who has secured Rank 1 AFCAT 2/2021 and SSC JAG 28 (Men) Course April, 2022.
The alumni started preparing for AFCAT when the notification for the exam came out in June 2021.
Evidently, his hard work didn’t go in vain.
When he joined the college, he was more inclined towards pursuing Judiciary. It was his aim for the better part of his college life. But over time, he realised it was the Air Force that really reeled him in.
Coming from a civilian background, he said that it took him some time to understand the process. While is important for one to recognise what is expected from him/her in every individual test during the SSB, one must have fun during the entire process. He is an inspiration to the students of AIL and will forever be.
