Bhavna Harsha (Class of 2022) will be joining Bharucha & Partners as an Associate. Their Recruitment Drive, which saw participation from law schools across the country, consisted of a meticulous process in which candidates were screened and shortlisted at the end of every stage.
In the 1st stage, the candidates were asked to submit their Statement of Purpose along with their C.V. and a 3-minutes long video response on any one of the following 3 topics—
(a) Any proposition of law which you found interesting throughout your journey in law school? Why?
(b) Any recent judgement which you disagree with? and
(c) Any law which you would like to amend? Why?
After the first round, five people were shortlisted. The 2nd stage was a subjective written test in which 5 basic questions of law were to be answered within an hour. Broadly, the questions were based on contracts, cryptocurrency, IBC and white collar crimes. Along with this, there was another qualitative test based on the 11 factors of employability. The final stage was an one-on-one personal interview with the Managing Partner.
The Bluepencil congratulates her and wishes her the best of luck for all future endeavours!
