Vibhuti Jaswal, class of 2017 has successfully completed her Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Law, from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab.
She is a young, hard-working research scholar and co-author of the book “Environmental Law”, on Environment Protection, Sustainable Development and the Law.
She submitted her thesis on the research topic- Right to Privacy on the Social Networking Sites in India: An Analytical Study. When asked about her views about the topic she said, “it is an evergreen topic having a constant significance. In order to deal with such a critical topic, which is so close to everyone’s heart, you have to do an in-depth study with an objective approach and cannot afford to miss any update.”
On insights about thesis writing, she said, “thesis writing requires in-depth reading, patient writing, accepting the mistakes and readiness to modify and updating.”
When asked about a piece of advice for juniors, who are looking for such an option in the future, she shared a very insightful acumen, “hard work and destiny play very important roles in life. We have to either win the destiny to achieve the desired goal or to excel on the destined path. I can state, learning from my experience, that devotion, dedication, sincerity, honesty, strong self-esteem, and hard work are the tools to complete the arduous journey towards the destination.”
