What a year to graduate! The COVID-19 chooses to wreak havoc all over the world in 2020. We all under lock-down. All your plans to spend time with your batch mates, is a distant dream now. Your graduation is going to go down in the pages of history. Jokes aside, you’ll be put out in a world where everyone will be healing. A world where opportunities will be a little less and everyone will be coming out of their miseries. But, you’ll also come out in a world where people will not miss a chance to hug each other a little tighter, a world where earth will be breathing, a world where people will have learnt how to share, a world where people will be happy to go to work. Your dreams will take a little more time to take off, but they eventually will.
Nevertheless, class of 2020, you’ve been one hell of a batch. A batch full of all sorts of people. Your batch gave variety a whole new definition, all together. From all the fall-ins to all the help you’ve given, from all the rants of being a 5th year to always being there for all of us. We’ve always looked up to you. No matter what sort of nonsense we’ve done, you’ve always had our backs. Through us you lived the first year once again. Step by step you relived all your mistakes once again. You let us fall, and helped us rise. Thank you for making us feel a part of this crazy family. This college will let you graduate, and you’ll be out there in no time. 5 years, you’ve done a great job struggling. You’ll leave us a college much better than the one you had. So, thank you. We will miss you. College isn’t going to be the same without you.
The corridors a little empty
The hostels with a little less laughter
The cafeteria with a little less fun
The basketball court with a little less josh.
We hope you live your dream. You deserve it, each and every bit of it. Meanwhile, we’ll pass on your legacy.
Much Love
The kiddos of the college
(First Years)
