Bhavdeep Modi (5th Year) received a two year fellowship from Teach for India at Delhi.
There were four stages of selection – the first being an initial application stage which required twelve essays to be written on life experiences; the second stage was a telephonic interview; the third included a visit to the assessment centre which involved Group Discussions, sample teaching and other related activities, all of which were successfully passed by him. He was then shortlisted for the final interview which he subsequently cleared.
His assigned work involves teaching forty underprivileged children belonging to under-sourced schools.
The Blue Pencil congratulates him on his achievement and wishes him the best of luck for his endeavour!
