We are an all-women team from the Army Institute of Law, Mohali, representing our institution on an international platform. Through consistent effort and determination, we qualified for the international rounds, securing a position among the top 16 teams globally. Building on this, we advanced to the semi-final stage, ranking among the top 4 teams after competing against
and outperforming several accomplished international teams. Our performances have also been recognised through personal commendations and encouraging feedback from members of the judging panel during the rounds.
Participation at this level is a significant milestone for our institution, where representation at international mooting competitions has been relatively infrequent, with the last team qualifying for the in-person international rounds nearly six years ago. The team came together to take on a legally and factually complex problem, demonstrating commitment and adaptability throughout the process.
Our preparation has been guided by the support and insights of members of the legal community in India and abroad, whose mentorship has contributed meaningfully to our progress. As we move forward in the competition, we are seeking to ensure that logistical and financial considerations do not limit our ability to fully participate in this opportunity.
While we had initially planned to fund a substantial part of this journey independently, recent geopolitical developments and resulting travel constraints have led to a considerable increase in airfare. In this context, we are exploring avenues of support to facilitate our continued participation.
We welcome any form of collaboration or support, including financial assistance, visibility through social media, or professional outreach. Such support will not only contribute to our journey but also help showcase the growing presence and capability of young legal professionals on an international stage.
