Gulrukh Kaur Sidhu (Batch of 2021) has been successfully placed at Grant Thornton Bharat through the Placement Cell Recruitment Drive. There she will be working as a consultant for all tax queries, litigation and advisory on the behalf of the firm in Noida. She will officially be joining the team on 9th August 2021.
Six months ago, she joined the firm as an intern and later that internship got converted into Letter of Provisional Employment (LPE) based on her six-month work performance. On being asked about the internship and the job she said, “All thanks to Pooja Nayar Ma’am and her help. Had she not given me this opportunity, I wouldn’t have reached here.”
As an imperative piece of advice for juniors who would be applying for jobs in future, she shared, “trust yourself and your abilities also if you get an internship in your desired field then utilise 100% of it and extract it fully, so that later they don’t have reason to deny you if you demand a job.”
