The perfectly amalgamated qualities of academics and sports that AILians naturally possess, lead them to pinnacle of success. Bagging such opportunity, the scholars once again engraved their names with virtues of fame in the latest youth sports fest, Virudhika ‘18, conducted by National Law Institute University, Bhopal.
Achieving excellence in almost every field, both men and women won Gold in Basketball. Coming to Athletics, Aadya stood first in Women’s Shotput. Bhavna grabbed Silver in 200 meters Women’s Athletics whereas Avinash won Silver in 1500 meters Men’s. Pious and Prabhat Kumar won the Women’s and Men’s Long Jump Competitions. Mannat Mehta flawlessly made her way to the top in Women’s Discus Throw, while Pious also stood first in Women’s long jump. Bhavna, Savita, Aadya, and Pious also achieved Gold in Women’s 4*100 meters Relay.
Much deservingly, Pious Mudgil was honored with awards of Best Athlete and Most Valuable Player of the Tournament subsequently. This lady never fails to make us proud.
And this is how, folks, AIL’s players marked NLIU’s grounds with the ever-swaying flag of the right way of playing, whose credit our administration would most readily take while boasting in annual reports and addresses. That is how they play it.
The Blue Pencil congratulates the AIL Contingent!
