On 30th of August, the Escorts ceremony was organized in the Multi Purpose Hall by the second years to prepare their immediate juniors for the official welcoming.
As per the traditions of AIL, the Escorts Ceremony is organized in order to pair up the 1st years with their escorts for the Freshers. It was a well-organized and a fun filled event. The program started off with the welcoming of the 1st year boys sporting formals and the girls rocking the ethnic look. Then through a witty game and an exchange of ping pong balls the first years got paired with their escorts.
Following this, each couple got their pictures clicked on the stage with props. The Hall was filled with a cacophony of sounds of people hooting and cheering the couple on the stage. As the event proceeded towards the end, everyone was invited to the dance floor.
It was an amazing day for the freshers to informally get to know their immediate seniors.
