Poonam Bera from the Batch of 2012-2017, got selected to National Law University Jodhpur, to pursue her LLM degree. She joined the college on 3rd of July, 2017 and is pursuing her degree in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). She developed interest in the subject while participating in Moot Court Competions, and decided to do specialization in this field itself. She chose NLU Jodhpur over other top law colleges of the country because it is renowned for it’s IPR LLM Programme, and the fact that it is located in hometown, made her all that more ebullient to do so.She has kept her options open but feels that all those who want to get into the teaching line as a career, can definitely look forward to pursuing a LLM degree from the top NLU’s of the country. In her opinion, having a specialization in the field of your interest matters, as one becomes a master of that subject and amasses better insight of it, which only offers better opportunities in the future.
