The Intra college moot court competition of Army Institute of Law organized by the Moot Court Society (MCS ) was a 3 day affair from the 17th of April, 2017 to 19th of April,2017.
20 teams participated and the competition received a stupendous response from all students of the college ranging from the first year to the 4th .
There were 2 Preliminary rounds winning which 8 participants bagged direct entry into the semis (4 teams) . The semi-final and final round took place on 19th April 2017 (2 teams in the final) .
Tavish (IV year) and Kainat Singh (I year) competed against Adhiraj (III year) and Ashpica (III year)

Winner: Tavish Gurung (IV year) and Kainaat Singh (I year), were awarded the Intra Institute Moot Court Rolling Trophy, cash prize of Rupees 4000 and a certificate of Merit.
Runner’s Up: Ashpica Ahuja (III year) and Adhiraj Bhandari (III year), were awarded a cash prize of Rupees 3000 and a certificate of Merit.
Best Advocate: Adhiraj Bhandari (III year), was awarded with a cash prize of Rupees 1500 and a certificate of Merit.
2nd Best Advocate: Shreya Singh (III year), was awarded a cash prize of Rupees 1000 and a certificate of Merit.
The final round was judged by S. Bhupinder Singh, District and Sessions Judge (Retd.), Former Presiding officer industrial tribunal cum Labour Court, former Presiding Officer District Consumer Forum, Mr. APS Sandhu, Advocate Punjab & Haryana High Court and Mr. Sunil Sachdev, Advocate Punjab & Haryana High Court and there, for the first time sat a 7 member jury of non-law faculty members .
The proposition was based on criminal jurisprudence and covered section 307 – attempt to murder read along with section 34 (common intention).
The last edition was a grand success which ended with winning teams and individuals getting monetary as well as documentary awards. The disciplined event management and the erudition of the judges which included prominent advocates of India alongside academic stalwarts made the event an exemplary success.
