On 26th of August, The Escorts Ceremony was organized for the first years in the multipurpose hall. The event was great and was very well planned by the second years to mark the beginning of the journey of the first year. Escorts ceremony is yet another tradition in AIL which is held before the Fresher’s, so that the first years have a partner for the Fresher’s.
The program started with a very warm welcome of the juniors. Second years had organized lots of fun activities for them, in which they actively participated too. The whole atmosphere of the hall was joyful and filled with excitement. Through a game, the first years got their escorts. Later each pair got themselves clicked with some props. Towards the end, everybody got together to dance. It was a wonderful opportunity for the first years to have an informal interaction with their immediate seniors.
