Question 1: How can I access last few year’s question papers of AIL?
Ans: There are no previous year question papers available per se. Practising previous year question papers of CLAT and AILET(NLUD) are sufficient as the pattern and kind of questions are on those lines.
Question 2: I scored 86% in the medical stream and have Punjab domicile, what are the chances of me getting into AIL?
Ans: You can try for admission via the Punjab Category. The University chooses 16 students each year upon submission of the necessary documentation. Every year the intake of the Punjab Category depends on the board examination marks. No special stream wise leeway exists.
Question 3: Which section should be focused on more and what kind of questions are asked in the logical reasoning section?
Ans: General knowledge section is the most unpredictable part and the most dynamic one as well. So that needs special attention. Other than that, logical reasoning is not that tricky and the questions are pretty do-able. Previous year papers of CLAT are a huge help when it comes to legal reasoning and English.
Question 4: Is there any Quota facility for admission through entrance exam?
Ans: No, AIL does not provide any special quota for entrance through the examination.
Question 5: Are all the 60 seats only allotted to children of Army personnel or are they open for Navy and Air force personnel as well?
Ans: The 60 seats are only allotted to the army category. Navy and air force people are considered for the 4 seats of All India Category.
