Title: Loneliest Frog in The World

For a decade, now, I have roamed the entire expanse of my tank many times over, searching…hoping…calling out to someone…anyone…
To no avail.
I don’t have very long to live and whatever little time I have left (5 years approximately), I would like to spend with someone(preferably the same species, sub-species and genus as me). I’ve been alone for far too long. A campaign by a few rather enthusiastic humans to raise $15,000 by Valentine’s Day to fund a search for you generated around $25,000. What can I say? I seem to have that effect on people.
They also got together with Match.com to create a profile for me online. Although, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll find me after seeing it ( Humans can be stupid, but they mean well. They probably forgot that their gadgets and gizmos are not amphibian-friendly), I figured that it wouldn’t hurt to try.
The following is a list of qualities I’m seeking in a potential mate –
Name– Juliet ( Not mandatory. After all, a rose by any other name smells just as sweet.)
Species – Sehuencas Water Frog
Gender – female ( would be fine if you’re biologically male but identify as female, except then we wouldn’t be able to make little tadpoles and that would be a shame because…well, with my face you can imagine how good they would look. Also, I’m kinda sorta like the last known frog of my kind soooo…)
Nationality – You could be from outer space, that’s how many croaks I give about nationality but chances are that you’re most probably Bolivian, too.
Appearance: “Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind,
And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.”
(Also, I’m hardly in a position to make demands. The furtherance of my kind depends on you.)
In conclusion, I’d just like to say “Doubt thou the stars are fire, Doubt that the sun doth move, Doubt truth to be a liar, But never doubt I love’’. Whoever you are, wherever you are, I love you already. Don’t keep me waiting for too long. Hop to me, my love. Time’s a tickin’ and I’m a few million croaks short of croaking my last croak. Romeo must die, yes, as must everybody, but not without knowing love.
