The students of Army Institute of Law, Mohali participated in the AWES Fest, 2017; ‘Panache’ organised by AIMT, Noida. The contingent participated in many events including sports, cultural and literary events and won laurels for the college. The Inaugural Ceremony was held on the first day and immediately after that the Literary Competitions commenced. Adhiraj Bhandari (4th year) won gold medals in Volte Face and Elocution. The college contingent also participated in sports like Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Table Tennis and Athletics and performed phenomenally. The boys team comprising of Harsh Tiwari (4th year), Amritpal Singh Sandhu (4th year), Shivanjay Yadav (3rd year), Rakesh Vishnoi (5th year), Aridaman Singh (5th year), Ishaan Saran (5th year), Manav Sharma (3rd year) Manish Choudhary (5th year) won gold in Basketball, Amritpal Singh Sandhu (4th year) and Adhiraj Bhandari (4th year) won gold in Badminton doubles and Amrit Sandhu (4th year) won gold in Badminton singles while Saloni Seth (3rd year) won gold in the same event. Ishaan Saran (5th year) and Aayushi Mishra (5th year) won gold in Table Tennis singles. A gold in Table Tennis doubles was won by Ishaan Saran (5th year) and Manish Choudhary (5th year) and Aayushi Mishra (5th year) and Mannat Mehta (3rd year) won silver in the same event. In the Long Jump event, Aridaman Singh (5th year) won silver. Amritpal Singh Sandhu (4th year), Rakesh Vishnoi (5th year), Ishaan Saran (5th year) and Aridaman Singh (5th year) won silver in 4×100 meter Men’s relay while Deeya Barik (3rd year), Surbhi Ojha (3rd year), Simran Walia (4th year), Aayushi Mishra (5th year) won gold in the same event.
AILIANS also participated in the Cultural Event portraying the theme of ‘Vibrant India’
All in all, the Event turned out to be a huge success for the college.
