1st September, a day everyone was waiting for, started off with the first years struggling to get ready in time. After getting pictures clicked together, the first years were seated in in the multipurpose hall and the guests arrived. There was excitement in the air and eagerness in the hearts of all the people present. The second years put up a magnificent show to welcome the last of the 90s and the aura of the hall was mesmerizing. The event consisted of a lot quizzes and performances by the beloved immediates on the latest upbeat tracks which was followed by an energetic Bhangra performance.
Then the highly awaited moment arrived, the announcement of Mr. and Ms. Freshers. Parth Mehta and Rashmi Kumari were crowned the titles and then as per the tradition set, a cake was cut as the celebrations were wrapped up. Everyone then proceeded for snacks and a fun filled dance party in the basement. All in all it was an extremely memorable day for the first years.
