Shreya V. (Class of 2017) and Ruhul Amin (Class of 2022), participated in Manupatra’s Legal Design Bootcamp and Competition held in association with Justice Adda and L & L Partners. Shreya V. bagged the first position and secured a cash prize of Rs. 20,000 along with her team, whereas Ruhul Amin and his team secured a cash prize of Rs. 15,000.
The competition revolved around the concept of ‘Legal Design,’ which aims to make law more comprehensive, accessible, engaging, and simpler, emphasizing making the process client-centric. The participants were asked to design documents, products, services, or policies which could help overcome three challenges, which were:
- How can we build a digital workspace where #wfh is the norm?
- How do we design the future of legal education to meet the challenges and demands of automation?
- How can we make courts virtual and accessible where there are digital divides?
Out of 11 teams consisting of various law students and professionals, Shreya V. and Ruhul Amin emerged victorious and kept AIL’s winning streak going strong.
The BluePencil congratulates them and wishes them luck for their future endeavors!
