Suren Uppal, a renowned advocate of the Supreme Court addressed the students with regards to the various avenues available to an individual after pursuing law. Mr. Uppal is popularly known for filing a PIL in the Essar Tapes case, he addressed the gathering not only on the various nuances of the case in itself, but also the importance of considering each and every field in order to form a specialisation. He further went on to cite many instances from his past where, prior to settling and specialising in company law and mergers and acquisitions amongst other fields, he had tried his hands at clearing the Civil Services Examination. Being addressed by him was an extremely enriching experience for the students.
