Abhinandan Jain (III year) and Drishmeet Buttar (IV year) have been adjudged as the winners of the 3rd NLIU Trilegal Cambridge Scholars Summit on Mergers and Acquisitions, 2018 (“summit”), for their entry, “Decrypting The Liberalized Foreign Direct Investment Policy As A Facilitator Of Cross-Country Mergers And Acquisitions: Maximum Governance And Minimum Government”. The summit was organized by the Centre for Business and Commercial Laws (“CBCL”) of National Law Institute University, Bhopal, in collaboration with Trilegal and Cambridge Scholars Publishing. It aimed at encouraging niche discussion in the area of M&A. After two rigorous rounds of review, one undertaken by CBCL and another by Trilegal, six research articles have been shortlisted for publication in the book titled, “Emerging Challenges in M&A”, which shall be released by Cambridge Scholars Publishing, University of Cambridge. As the winners of the coveted summit, Abhinandan and Drishmeet have also been awarded with an internship offer from Trilegal and cash prize.
