Generally thought to be one of the world’s record-breaking most noteworthy guitarists and referred to among his companions as an incredible colleague, Eric Clapton started a custom whereby guitarists from throughout the world come to jam and exhibit their talents in a two-day music fest. Clapton recently declared the fifth Crossroads Guitar Festival open.
Since inception, the vision behind the Crossroads Guitar Festival was and is to make an occasion where companions and counterparts can have a great time and perform together to assist a good cause. All the profits from the Festival works as an advantage for The Crossroads Center in Antigua, a treatment and education facility established by Clapton for synthetically / chemically dependent people.
The first-ever Crossroads Guitar Festival occurred on June 2004 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas and it was a remarkable accumulation of guitar icons from blues, contemporary and rock music genre. The sold-out show was chronicled in a 2-circle DVD that has since proceeded to end up as one of the world’s top-selling music DVD’s. The Crossroads Guitar Festival 2007 and 2010 were the second and third such shows by Clapton and were arranged at Toyota Park in Chicago. The two Festivals were recorded for DVDs and met comparable praise and accomplished multi-platinum status. The fourth Crossroads Guitar Festival in 2013 carried the world’s best guitar players to the world’s most celebrated field, Madison Square Garden in New York and met with immense basic approval.
The Festival, which has turned out to be Legend(wait for it)dary in its own privilege for facilitating exhibitions, performances and impromptu collaborations from the world’s most incredible guitar players will occur September 20-21 in the city that facilitated the first-historically speaking Crossroads Guitar Festival, Dallas Texas. The current year’s Festival will include two-evenings of melodic exhibitions with ideal guitar joint efforts. Known as pioneers in their field, the list of craftsmen ranges old and new. The spectators can anticipate unmatched excitement, splendid guitar work, surprise visitors and unrehearsed jams that are the hallmark of these entertainers.
