Fury Jain (4th Year) was recently invited to present her paper at the International Climate Finanace Conference 2018 held from 26th January – 28th Janury 2018 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Her trip was fully-funded by the Bangladesh Centre for Advanced Studies, the hosts for the conference.
She was a part of the panel for the session on ‘Innovative Climate Financing Mechanisms- Case Studies and Initiatives.’ Her paper on ‘Mobilising Private and Institutional Finance for Climate Resilience in the Developing World’ was presented during this session and focused on the parametric insurance models and sub-sovereign financing for climate resilience.
