Imagine a stage alive with energy, as the college’s freshest faces, the batch of 2028, took their turn in the spotlight on August 22, 2023. And who was there to roll out the welcome wagon? Their spirited buddy seniors from the batch of 2027!
Let’s talk tradition – the formal introduction. It’s been a staple at AIL since time immemorial.
Picture this: each new student gets their own catchy tagline and a song, adding a personal touch to the fun-filled affair.
Lights dimmed, music soared – the first-year crew owned the stage. Busting out moves to the timeless Hindi groove, “saat samundar paar” was the first of the batch. And that tagline? As relevant as it could be: “saat samundar paar main AIL ke peeche peeche aa gayi.” Talk about creativity!
But hang tight, because the seniors weren’t done yet. They cranked up the volume with Haryanvi beats, Bhojpuri vibes, classic Hindi melodies, and Punjabi pop hits. It was a musical medley that had everyone tapping toes and grinning ear to ear.
The stage? More like a playground of imagination. The seniors decked it out with sassy taglines and transformed their buddy juniors with some very interesting makeup and hairstyles that screamed confidence.
Laughs, cheers, and boundless joy – the scene was a whirlwind of excitement. Seniors and juniors reveled in the moment, dancing like nobody was watching. Yet, let’s not forget the true scene-stealers: the newest seniors, who left everyone in awe and also a bit of fear, with their unstoppable & somewhat dangerous moves and tireless enthusiasm.
Excitement buzzed in the air, mingled with sweat and an electric atmosphere that was hard to replicate. It was an emotional rollercoaster, a shared experience under the dazzling lights.
As the event wrapped up, a heartwarming slideshow swept everyone back in time, reliving memories of previous formal introductions.
And the second years? They weren’t just taking a breather; they were already planning for their juniors’ next welcome extravaganzas – Escorts and Freshers. The teaser was just enough to end the event on notes of some palpable anticipation and contagious enthusiasm.
