Neelam (2nd year) has been adjudged as Runner Up for the position of Best Presenter in the Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon Asian Jural Conclave 2021-22 as a part of the PROF. N. R. Madhava Menon Asian Mooting Competition, Law Students Conference & Colloquium 2021-22.
There were a total of 16 teams in the moot court competition. Seven were from India, and the rest were from countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, UAE, Nepal, etc. The proposition of the competition was based on International law pertaining to human rights and fair trial of a foreign resident who is arrested and women’s health rights.
The researcher was supposed to participate in Law Students Conference and was supposed to present a paper while the oral rounds for the speakers were going on. There was a total of 12 teams in the paper presentation round.
The topic of Neelam’s paper was “Right to Education and Digital Divide in COVID-19 Pandemic”. And she was adjudged runner up for presenting the same.
