A team comprising of Pranav Shankhyan (5th year), Muskan Dang (3rd year) and Samyukta Shankar (2nd year) had participated in the Christ University Mediation Competition in the virtual law fest Fête De La Nomos 2020. The competition was held from 27th– 31st August 2020. A total of 24 teams participated in the same.
The four day long event consisted of two preliminary rounds held on 27th and 28th. August, after which eight teams qualified for the quarter finals held on 29th August 2020. The top four teams qualified for the semi-finals that were held on the 31st of August. AIL and NALSAR qualified for the finals. AIL was declared the winner of the competition.
While Pranav and Muskan were adjudged the best mediating pair, Samyukta was adjudged the best Mediator. The competition covered various areas of law including Contract Law, Intellectual Property Rights and Company Law.
