On 1st August, the Thursday activity included an informative guest lecture by, Dr Upneet Lalli, Deputy Director, Institute of Correctional Administration, Chandigarh, on “Psychology and Law – An Interface”.
She commenced her speech by asking a few questions and engaging the audience in her lecture. She narrated anecdotes of her college days and her experiences as a law student. She talked about how a lawyer must possess good communication skills and talked about the challenges a lawyer faces at the commencement of their service. She preached the students to work and be diligent and deliberated upon the importance of being active and disciplined in the field of law and psychology. The guest lecture ended with a Question-Answer session.
This lecture was followed by another short lecture by the State Bank of India employees explaining the students about the benefits of a saving account. It was indeed a knowledgeable and informative lecture for the students.
