A team comprising of Tavish Gurung ( 5th year ), Adhiraj Bhandari ( 4th year ) and Bhavna Shree Harsha ( 1st year ) represented AIL at the first Surana and Surana Environment Law Moot and went on to win the competition. Apart from winning the prize for best team, they also got the best memo and Adhiraj Bhandari was adjudged as the 3rd best speaker overall and the best speaker in the final round.
The team received a cash prize of Rupees 10,000 for winning the competition and Rs 2500 for winning the 2nd best memorial.
