AIL bags the Best Contingent trophy at JGLS’s annual sports fest Magnus ’16

Magnus is the annual inter-collegiate sports fest organised by O.P. Jindal Global University in the month of March. It included 12 sports this year- Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Carom, Chess, Cricket, Football, Pool, Table- Tennis, Tennis, Throw-Ball, Volleyball with a ton of exciting side events. The mix of great audience was catered over for 3 days, from  March 11, 2016 to March 13, 2016.

The AIL contingent was a part of this fest. Those 6 a.m. workouts and endless hours of practice spoke and shone for itself when they got a GOLD in Volleyball Men and SILVER in Volleyball Women, Basketball Women, Throwball Women and Badminton, which helped AIL lift up the well-deserved OVERALL TROPHY.

The students of AIL displayed astounding sportsmanship, so much so that they, even got a special mention during the closing ceremony. The AILians once again took it up a notch.
