On January 21, 2016, the Army Institute of Law conducted a turncoat competition as a Thursday-activity ritual. There was a healthy amount of participation and I’d like to specifically mention the wonderful talent that came up from the first two years.
The judges for the competition were Mr. Kushaal Singhla, Ms. Gagandeep Dhaliwal and Dr. Bajirao Rajwade.
While some of the participants added a flavour of comedy to their speeches, the rest spoke about their topics rather passionately. The topics were very basic but the fact that it was a turncoat competition made everything all the more interesting.
I would like to congratulate the winners, who were-
1st position – Fury Jain (2nd year)
2nd position- Adhiraj Dagger (2nd year) and Ahat Sharma (2nd year)
3rd position – Annie Sharma (1st year)
I believe this was a quite a start to the new semester. Hoping for debates, elocution and dramatics to be next. *Fingers Crossed*
